There are so many options when it comes to finding a good place to eat in Copenhagen. When you stay at one of our Wakeup hotels in Copenhagen, you can be sure to find some of the best gourmet restaurants right next to our centrally-located Copenhagen hotels. To make things easier for you, we have put together a list of some of the five places we think you should visit when staying at a hotel in Copenhagen.

1. Tivoli Hotel:

On the 12th floor of Arp-Hansen’s Tivoli Hotel, just a few steps from the Wakeup hotel on both Bernstorffsgade and Carsten Niebuhrsgade, you will discover two exquisite taste experiences. You can enjoy delicious and perfectly prepared steaks at the popular steakhouse restaurant MASH Penthouse, or taste the city’s best sushi at Skybar Sticks'n'Sushi with one of Copenhagen’s best views – both inside and outside!

Address: Arni Magnussons Gade 2, DK-1577 Copenhagen V

2. Falang Asteria:

In the middle of Istedgade lies a spectacular building. It’s impossible to miss as it’s completely pink. And they serve really tasty Thai food at prices that everyone can afford. It has a lively and relaxing atmosphere with a menu that offers all the favourite Asian dishes.

4. Kødbyen’s Fiskebar:

You absolutely must visit Fiskebar in the cool Kødbyen area (Meatpacking District) if you love fish or just want to enjoy a glass of rosé. Especially in the summer, it’s fantastic to relax and enjoy the sun in one of the deckchairs in front of the restaurant in the raw surroundings of Kødbyen. Fiskebar focuses on sustainability, taste and quality.

5. Restaurant Pluto:

At the restaurant on Borgergade, you can enjoy a delicious Bib Gourmand experience. You can choose between sharing dishes, which are served on shared plates, or buying á la carte dishes. The mood on Pluto is chilled, and here you can relax your shoulders after a long working week. As it’s a popular place to visit, it’s a good idea to book a table some time in advance.
