When can I check in and out?
Check-in is possible from 3PM on the day of arrival until the next morning. Please contact the reception if you arrive later than 2AM. Check-out is at 11AM.
Would you like an early check-in? Depending on the hotel's availability, this can be arranged for an additional fee. Please ask at the reception upon arrival.

When you check in online, you’ll receive your room key directly on your phone and can go straight to your room.

Can guests under 18 years stay at Wakeup Copenhagen without an adult companion?
No, guests under 18 years must always be accompanied by an adult when staying at the hotel.
How do I check out?
It can be done quickly and easily. Use our Express Check-out box located at our main entrance. Check-out is at 11AM on the day of departure.
You can also check out at one of our staffed counters in the lobby.
Can I store my luggage?
Yes, at Wakeup Copenhagen you can easily store your luggage in our lockers, which come in both small and large sizes. The small lockers fit a cabin-size suitcase perfectly, and the price depends on the locker size.
Payment is easy with a credit card directly at the terminal – unfortunately, we do not accept cash, and it is not possible to receive a receipt for locker rental.
How often is the room cleaned if I stay several nights in a row?
It's up to you! If you want daily cleaning or fresh towels, simply inform the reception by 10PM the day before. We will automatically clean your room on the 4th day.
This way, your stay will be just as you like it.

How do I get the absolute cheapest rate on my accommodation?
Book directly on our website to ensure the best price. The "ECONOMY" rate is our absolute cheapest. It must be prepaid and cannot be canceled or changed. Therefore, please check your reservation carefully before booking.
I would like to be able to cancel?
If you want flexibility, choose our FLEXIBLE rates, which can be canceled or changed until 12PM on the day of arrival.
The booking must be guaranteed with a valid credit card.
Is it more expensive if I don’t book my stay online?

Is it possible to rent bicycles?
Yes, you can rent bicycles at all our hotels. The bicycle is yours from the time you rent it until midnight. Bicycles cannot be pre-booked, but can be rented at the reception upon arrival.

Is there a restaurant that serves dinner?
We do not serve dinner at our hotels, but you can enjoy our delicious breakfast buffet in our breakfast restaurants.
In the lobby café, you can buy snacks and beverages all day – from beer and wine to cocktails from Nohrlund, as well as chips, nuts, candy, and cake.
May I order food from outside?
Yes, you are welcome to order food from outside and enjoy it in your room. The reception has cutlery if you need it.
Are there restaurants near the hotels?
There are many exciting dining options close to our hotels in both Copenhagen and Aarhus. Ask our friendly staff, who will be happy to share recommendations for nearby restaurants.

Unfortunately, it is not allowed to bring a dog to the Wakeup hotels, unless you are bringing a service dog.
Is there a hairdryer in the room?
Yes, there are hairdryers in all the rooms.
Is there Wi-Fi at the hotel?
Yes, there is free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. You can get the code at the reception. We also have desktop computers available for use (maximum 30 minutes if there is a queue).
Is there a telephone in the room?
There are no telephones in the rooms, but there is an emergency telephone by the lift on every floor from which the emergency services and reception can be contacted.
(Does not apply to Wakeup Aarhus)
Can I iron my shirt in the room?
Unfortunately, there are no irons in the rooms, but you are very welcome to use our facilities:
- At Wakeup Bernstorffsgade and Wakeup Borgergade, you will find ironing rooms in the basement
- At Wakeup Aarhus, the ironing room is located on the 1st floor
- At Wakeup Carsten Niebuhrs Gade, you can borrow an iron and ironing board at the reception
What type of power outlets are there in the rooms?
You will find 230V Euro sockets in the rooms.

Do the hotels offer parking?
Yes, you can park at all the hotels for a fee.
Is smoking permitted?
No, our hotels are 100% smoke-free.
What is the easiest way to get to and from the hotel?
All our hotels are centrally located and easy to reach by public transportation.

Can I pay in other currencies at the hotel?
We use Danish kroner when we give quotes on room reservations. However, it is possible to pay with and exchange EUR, USD, GBP, AUD, CAD, CHF, JPY and SGD in the reception at the hotel's exchange rate.
Can I have clothes washed and dry cleaned at the hotel?
Yes, we offer laundry and dry-cleaning services through Renserierne.dk. You can drop off your clothes in the reception by 8AM and pick them up after 5PM, clean and freshly washed.
What are the different types of rooms available?
We offer 5 different room types at the Wakeup Copenhagen hotels in Copenhagen and Aarhus.
Choose between:
- WAKEUP STANDARD: 12m² room with a 160x200 cm Getama bed. These rooms are often located on the lower or rear floors of the building.
- WAKEUP SKY: 12m² room with a 160x200 cm Getama bed and a better view. These rooms are located on the middle floors.
- WAKEUP HEAVEN: 12m² room with a 160x200 cm Getama bed and a beautiful view. These rooms are located on the upper floors.
- WAKEUP LARGE: 15m² room with a 160x200 cm Getama bed and a 75x195 cm fold-out mattress. The room is designed for 2 adults and 1 child.
- WAKEUP FAMILY: Consists of 2 WAKEUP STANDARD rooms with a connecting door.
There are no rooms at the hotel with twin beds.
Do you have accessible rooms, and how do I book them?
Yes, all the Wakeup hotels, except for Carsten Niebuhrs Gade, offer accessible rooms. The rooms are 18,4 square meters and feature twin beds as well as a spacious bathroom with a shower seat and handrails. If you would like to book an accessible room, please send an email directly to the Wakeup hotel where you wish to stay, with your request. We will then ensure that a room suited your needs is reserved.
What should I do if I haven't received an email confirmation for my booking?
If you haven't received your booking confirmation via email, you should check your spam filter. If the confirmation isn't in the spam filter, you should contact the hotel as soon as possible.
What if I have lost or forgotten something at the hotel?
Are all rooms protected against bed bugs?
Yes, we have installed Valpas technology on the legs of the beds in all our rooms. The system automatically detects and traps bed bugs if they happen to arrive with a guest’s luggage — discreetly and without affecting your stay.
